Neophyte

It's not that I haven't been writing...I haven't been blogging. I am a neophyte to the wonderful world of blogging, and to using the computer itself, hence my keeping writings elsewhere (on paper in files and in binders) until I am more computer-savvy.

Being a neophyte at blogging isn't that bad. After all, I have on-going instruction from a son, a daughter and a husband. That is, in their spare time...when projects, duties, and fun don't intervene.

Actually, I am very fortunate to have generous and patient tutors. My son built the laptop on which I now blog as a present for me. He gives me instruction whenever I ask for it, which is frequently. My daughter knows the ropes artistically, and my husband works with computers
daily. I am the Johnny-come-lately to cyberspace, the debutante nervously waiting to be introduced into blogging society, wanting to make a good impression.

OK, so actually I just wanted to see what words of mine looked like in print. Also, I have been shy about the whole blogging thing - sharing my writing with who-knows-who. Still not sure how it all works. But I am learning.

I don't expect this post to be read by anyone but myself. But I do expect and hope to produce pages that are truly worthwhile in the long run.

In the meantime I am content to learn.

  1. Hey, you! Welcome to the blogging world! I am also a writer who often does not write for a blog. Sometimes most of the writing I get done is only in my head!

I often think there are only three people who read my blog....and then I find someone who does....always surprises me.

God bless you and your words!

  2. I wish I could write well, But alas, I have not practiced much. I get words into print when I can though, and yes, I'm surprised when someone else reads my posts. Thank you for the comments. I'm glad they like the rosaries, and my parents came over and brought dinner for my birthday :) God Bless!
